Everyone wants to serve foster kids, but sometimes it's hard to know how. There are many ways to serve in Compelled to Care. You can serve at large events, write encouraging cards or even help organize gift drives for foster kids and help organize donations.

The Restore Retreat is a weekend away for foster, adoptive & kinship moms who are parenting kids from hard places. A lot of these kids have big behaviors that are hard to describe to other parents and family members. These moms often feel misunderstood and alone. The Restore Retreat is a chance for these moms to be with their people, share true, funny and sometimes hard stories. Its also a place to be restored with biblical teaching and participate in fun activities. We also like to spoil these moms with crazy good giveaways and swag bags just because.

We have consistently hosted 80+ moms for the past four years and serve moms from north of Seattle to south of Portland. We consistently have moms who fly from out of state to attend.

Not every mom who wants to come to the retreat can afford it. Single moms especially could use extra help to attend. Sponsorship and donations is what allows us to keep the registration fee at a relatively affordable price in comparison to other retreats and bless these moms at the level that we do.
