We love throwing fun events for families because they promote healthy childhood experiences and memories. Our events tend to have a hands-on element because doing projects and playing together promotes attachment between caregivers and kids.
Compelled to Care monthly family dinners with childcare are for current foster, adoptive and kinship families, as well as caregivers who serve with the Safe Families for Children program!
Chantel Rohr is an experienced conference speaker and mother of five who grew up in a home with parents who did foster care. Often times we can wonder how our choice to become foster parents affects our biological and adopted kids. Chantel will be sharing her experience of growing up in a foster family.
Dinner & childcare provided.
Join us for Bargains & Blessings! A $25-fill-a-bag sale that raises money for our free community events for local foster, adoptive and kinship families!

This fun Easter tradition started out small and has grown every year!
We partner with The Local Olympia to egg our member's* yards on Easter Eve. We have egged houses from Covington to Shelton. There are three ways to get involved.
1. Donate plastic eggs and candy from our wish list that will be shipped directly to us.
2. Youth 11+ register to attend the service project on Friday, March 22nd and stuff eggs with candy.
3. Egg Member's yards on Easter Eve. Must be 18 years or older and complete a background check.
