Compelled to Care is a multi-faceted ministry that was birthed by people who wanted a safe place to be with other people who know what it means to care for kids from hard places. We are less of a support group and more of a community full of imperfect people moving forward as we live out the gospel and care for the vulnerable.
HANG WITH PEOPLE WHO JUST - GET IT
Compelled to Care monthly dinners are a great opportunity to meet other foster, adoptive and kinship families, people who are interested in getting licensed, and those who just want to serve the community. Dinners have been postponed due to COVID 19.
The Restore Retreat is a 3 day weekend away for foster, adoptive and kinship moms. Women from all over the PNW gather together every spring to connect, be encouraged and be restored.
This weekly Tuesday night online meet-up is not about training or even bible study. This is just about hanging out together. No need to register. We start at 8pm, but you can even show up late - we get it. Just click the button and join the conversation.
Compelled to Care began as a group of 10 parents so we believe in the importance of small groups. We have groups for Moms, Dads and Single Moms.
The Compelled to Care Community Facebook group is for caregivers to encourage each other, seek peer advice, ask for prayer, share community events and share resources.
Compelled to Care is known for hosting dynamic events in-person and virtual events like the Reunited Worship Night featured in this photo.
Join Ashley and Nick every Thursday night in the Compelled to Care Community Facebook group for community shout-outs, announcements, encouragement and guest interviews.
Every summer we tour the local parks by meeting at a different on every week. We love getting the kids together to play.
With the social distancing pushing everyone outdoors we have had fun doing drive thu events.
